About Well Being Africa

Well Being Africa (WBA) is an NGO established in 2018 with the mandate to optimise human existence and promote sustainable development through services and advocacy in nutrition, psycho-social support, and capacity development.


To optimize the existence of individuals, particularly women, children, and girls through advocacy and operational initiatives in nutrition and nutrition-related programmes, capacity development, and psychosocial support, toward the development of African nations.


Well Being Africa envisions African communities where people are healthy, empowered and thriving in maximising their potential for the advancement of Africa.

Service: We place a high premium on service; therefore, we are committed to serving the communities by freely giving our time, expertise, energy, and resources.

Well Being Africa complies with all legal requirements, codes of good practice and operates the policy of good corporate governance. The organisation is governed by a 7-member Board of Directors who meet periodically to oversee the finances and strategies of the organisation providing insight and advice to the organisation. All the board members render their services to the board on a voluntary basis, at no cost, thereby contributing valuable expertise on all levels of the management of its projects. The organisation employs a CEO for the daily operation of its affairs. The organisation conducts the external audit of its financial affairs annually.


Well Being Africa is audited annually by the Certified Master Auditors Incorporated (CMA Inc). The full report of the audit is posted each year for transparency.

The Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) in cooperation with organisations, government agencies and the private sector strives to reduce poverty and oppression around the world and contribute to sustainable development for all people.


WBA is a member of the The Solidarity for African Women’s Rights (SOAWR), a coalition working to ensure that the rights of girls and women as articulated in the Protocol to the African Charter on the Rights of Women in Africa (“The Protocol”) are prioritised by policymakers on the African continent.
